1 | Our Commitment
Fifth Axis is committed to providing a digital experience that is inclusive and accessible to everyone, in accordance with the principles of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We believe accessibility is an ongoing process and core to our mission of enabling clients across the DACH region, wider Europe, and North America.
2 | Measures We Take
To ensure accessibility, we have implemented―and continue to refine―the following measures:

• Semantic HTML5 and ARIA landmarks
• Colour-contrast ratios ≥ 4.5:1 (text) and ≥ 3:1 (UI & graphics)
• Responsive layouts for screen-magnification users
• Focus indicators and logical tab order
Content
• Plain-language writing where possible
• Alt text for images and descriptive link titles
• Captions (or transcripts) for audiovisual content
Quality Assurance
• Automated scans (axe DevTools, WAVE) on each release
• Keyboard-only testing
• Screen-reader spot-checks (NVDA, VoiceOver)
External Review
• Annual third-party accessibility audit
Governance
• Accessibility champion within the development team
• Training for contributors and subcontractors
• Quarterly review of user feedback and WCAG updates
3 | Conformance Status
We aim for full conformity with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. At the time of this statement (1 June 2025) the site is largely conformant. Known minor issues are listed below under § 5, with remediation work scheduled.
4 | Compatibility
The site is designed to work with:
Current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Screen-reader / browser combinations commonly used in Windows, macOS, iOS and Android
Assistive technologies that support WAI-ARIA 1.2
Older browsers that do not support modern web standards may not display all content optimally.
5 | Known Accessibility Gaps & Planned Fixes
- PDF invoices generated by legacy module are not yet tagged for accessibility (Screen-reader users cannot navigate structure) - Target: Q4 2025
- Occasional skip-link focus loss on modal overlays (Keyboard users may need extra keystrokes) - Target: Q3 2025
We will publish updates in this statement as each issue is resolved.
